readysettech / readyset

Readyset is a MySQL and Postgres wire-compatible caching layer that sits in front of existing databases to speed up queries and horizontally scale read throughput. Under the hood, ReadySet caches the results of cached select statements and incrementally updates these results over time as the underlying data changes.

Add support for MySQL TRUNCATE TABLE #1221

Closed altmannmarcelo closed 6 months ago

altmannmarcelo commented 7 months ago

Description

Truncate table is logged as a STATEMENT (EventType::QUERY_EVENT) .

This is meant to remove all the rows in the table.

Currently we skip this event leaving Readyset and MySQL in different states.

Change in user-visible behavior

Requires documentation change
