oh and further note: i didn't check for updates in the threeX plugins we use
ported Pong similarily, wasn't much and seems like kind of nice (albeit contraversary) change that unassignability .. modifying the existing vector objs seems sane.

oops this is better via dev (normal git flow), especially as breaks things too - redoing to dev
tested to work withour errors with local gltf and xml3d / suzanne examples and client-server with the Physics2 example.
NOTE: breaks Ludo's avatar / skeleton examples as the skel things have changed in three.js
pong or other in-external-repos apps not tested / ported yet (probably the now immutable pos/rot/scale params pop up there too).
am planning to test also with current dev of three.js which has changed even more, but OTOH has optimizaions for mobiles and PVRTC loading for iOS devices etc.
