So, I've looked into more of how "Attributes" work. It seems that the "Is New?" checkbox should probably stay as it is and the MSRP field from #3 should be made into a Text Input within the "General" section, but Year and In-house Inventory and Year should be made into Attributes because they are:
The only reason I would exclude MSRP from the rules above is because Attributes are handled like Categories and for every MSRP value, a new Category would need to be created. Since very few instruments would have the same MSRP, having it be an Attribute to Search/Filter by doesn't make a lot of sense.
The "Is New?" checkbox is kind of weird and seems to only serve the ability to show that a product is "New" even if it is out on Loan according to their inventory.
Imported "Is New", "In-House Inventory", and "Year" into Attributes and moved the MSRP field into the General section.
I decided to convert "Is New" into an Attribute after all since that made handling filtering on the frontend easier.
The only Attribute that is not is MSRP, which is #3. Is there a specific Attribute that is not showing? Inventory is the only one mentioned here and that one is under General. Does it need to be somewhere different? Moving it to somewhere else under the Product would require a migration script.
