This may not occur I think he's requesting something that breaks UX. These labels exist for a reason. But I'm going to enter it for documentation.

Instead of using past, previous, upcoming, and next, just use Previous and Upcoming.

I went ahead and made a label for cases like this where we are either waiting on something from the client, or are waiting on confirmation.

In this case, we're waiting on confirmation (Specifying here since I cleaned up the Issue Title)

I left a voicemail with Paul to discuss this.

This has been pushed up. It leaves the potential to confuse the visitor, though.

If the visitor is viewing Past Events and clicks "Next Events", the Page Title could still say "Previous Events" since that's what the Past Events if they're still viewing Events that are in the past.

Doing things the other way by changing the next for the Pagination Links rather than the Page Title can lead to similar confusion, but the Pagination Links may have been more confusing.

We discussed this at length. He's adding more events, both in the past and in the future to see how this interface actually works. I believe I've convinced him that he's making bad decisions. Keep open until launch. or acknowledged as a bad idea.

Client says he definitely wants "...the events page to say Upcoming Events and Past events."

Would you please reset the changes you made last week. I'd like to see the default in play with the additional events that have been added before I make any further changes. This seems like completely wasted time, so I want to make sure to only do changes one last time.
