Back pad on elastic band structure development #31

Based on EVT head band, to develop back pad structure.

@nicolehong0 Shape looks good to me. Go ahead and prototyping. Please contact the prototyping company to make sure this kind of structure is manufacturable.

Foam samples are available, processed by foaming molding, three stiffness level: 20A, 25A, 30A. Foam (25A)+plastic shell stack up protoes (based on 040120 CAD) are available.

Nicole's review:

  1. 25A foam should be too stiff, lower stiffness foam would be better (maybe lower than 20A).
  2. No significant comfort improvement observed. No obvious pressure concentration on elastic head band observed for the EVT version (w/o head back pad). The pressure is mainly loaded on the forehead and nose. For the elastic band, the pressure on the two side areas results in discomfort, but not obvious on the back area. After adding the back pad, the pressure on forehead, nose and two side areas of the elastic band are not reduced.

No need any more. We use the old headband back pad.
