Request for Non-Hostile Mobs #3

Can you make a similar or optional mod that will allow Players to TOGGLE when there Attacks will Hit/Damage/Affect Non-Hostile NPCS and Other Players? So if they want to attack say a villager they would have to toggle the setting to OFF before they can hurt the NPC to prevent accidental attacks etc when doing things in town like protecting them from Raids etc or adventuring with other players?

Thank you! let me know if you do it please and when I can test it. It would be such an amazing mod to have. Especially when you are using the combat mods that makes you do wide sweeping attacks.
