it was quite a adventure working on god damn Device. kernel source broken kernel vendor source broken

Rom source was broken more then that when did reverse engineering . its like a 12yo kids team working on whole OPPO( aka OPLUS team) software department.

broken spellings on multiple places and ignored like who will cares and who will actually check .

all the devices having same kernel vendor sources , so good that all the devices have broken implementations that are being announced to be working on device release .

random dump files which have no use in kernel random and broken symlink that source guy unable to even remove oppo symlink and removed the source file.

3 different devices using same kernel source without having a conditions in kernel for all those devices and company introduces the devices to be new. so much of rebranding fooling people and fooling the environment around the tech community by just doing small tweaks in display drivers to make touch response fast.

this device was my first and last device ever bought from OPLUS .

realme gets a issue on kernel source:

updates defconfig.

feels proud that they fixed issue

and now pushes same commit to oneplus9r sources

Aside from the misspelled stuff everything is functional though? That said, they have to update dts or something, oplus aod doesn't work with generated dtbo

@realme-kernel-opensource Since OP doesn't answer, I guess I'll claim some issues:

@realme-kernel-opensource Since OP doesn't answer, I guess I'll claim some issues:

  • Oplus AOD straight doesn't work by compiling kernel on perf config
  • Brightness behaves weirdly, as if apollo didn't work
  • Using compiled kernel on anything in and after RUI F05 (Global) breaks a few sensors like light and proximity. Please syncronize codes.

Could you please provide your email for a more detailed analysis of the problem? Or you can contact us via realme-kernel-opensource@realme.com. Thanks.
