This is expected behaviour. As stated in the error message in your screenshot, "you need to be viewing a wedding to unassign contacts". After running a find
command, you would be returned to the "all view", which is stated in the user guide. It can be seen that you are currently not viewing a wedding in the blue box above the wedding panel.

Reason for disagreement: Thank you for your response. However, I believe this behavior could be improved to better meet the needs of wedding planners. Weddings often involve tens to over a hundred personnel, with multiple individuals assigned to the same role, such as several photographers or chefs. If a planner wishes to unassign a photographer, they should be able to quickly locate the individual by name within the wedding view without needing to navigate through all photographers or being redirected out of the current context. Notably, the filter
command, which performs a similar function to the find
command, does not remove the user from the current view, highlighting a potential inconsistency in the workflow.
Additionally, wedding planners might forget the specific tag assigned to a person, especially when up to six different tags can be assigned. In such cases, the ability to search by name directly within the wedding view would greatly simplify unassigning contacts and improve overall efficiency. By avoiding unnecessary navigation, the workflow becomes more intuitive and user-friendly, reducing frustration and allowing planners to focus on organizing weddings seamlessly.
After running find command, I have found the contact that i wish to unassign in the wedding view, however i am not allowed to do that here
