Is text support planned ? As of latest master and Kicad 5.1, text seems to be ignored.

Milled boards often don't have silkscreen. Text on copper layer is very useful to label connectors, power jacks and such.

FreeCAD has built-in support for text shapes. Just search around Youtube for tutorials, such as this one.

I have created some Text on my PCB and assigned it to layers F.Cu or B.Cu. How can I use fcad_pcb to create copper objects from this text?
