Put fix #5

Many thanks for working this fix out for us some months ago (put was not uploading streams, they'd end up with 0 length on the sftp server). We just tested 0.9.11 which had the same issue for us as 0.9.7, however in this branch put works perfectly for streams for us so you may wish to consider merging it.

Roger, thanks for checking this again. It looks like there are some merge conflicts, and I need to remove the dist files.

I'm currently on vacation and didn't bring my laptop, so I'll dig into this when I get back on Monday the 20th.
