SWS/S&M Extension beta #236

This is a "fake" issue we create so that people can report issues/regression about the upcoming beta (Jan 2011, build #1), if any. Links with changelog and other details are coming soon..

Please, first, take a look to the SWS Extension Beta Policy ( https://code.google.com/p/sws-extension/wiki/Betas ).

Also, please answer the following questions. It will help and save us some (precious) time. Thanks!

What steps will reproduce the problem? What is the expected output? What do you see instead? What version of SWS extension are you using? (Extensions -> About SWS...) What Reaper version #? 32 or 64 bit? What operating system are you running? (e.g. Windows XP/7, OSX 10.5.8 etc, 64bit?)

Thanks guys! :) looking forward to it all! I'm actually really excited for snapshots to be able to be filtered by only showing the snapshots related to the tracks you have selected! This will be what I've always wanted, a preset system that is PER PROJECT :) not per REAPER ;) Anyway! thanks for all the goodies and will donate and encourage others to as well!

Just tried marker find again and I can get it to work now on further inspection but it is the way it works that threw me. Wasn't expecting to not be able to push the big "play" button and it will only find markers depending on the direction you push. I can live with this and I imagine it's done like that because of suggestions and testing at the time to make it the best way possible so it's all good :)

Installers updated to include grooves (installed in Reaper resource path\Grooves on Win, manual install for OSX) Fixed sws-autocoloricon.ini reading on OSX S&M Find now supports v4 empty take lanes (fixes find in item notes, take names and take filenames) Fixed issue 262 : pre-FX and post-fader S&M cue buss actions now obey send & HW output default prefs (i.e. prefrences > project > track/send defaults). Note: pre-fader busses still mimic the volume of selected tracks. Restored deprecated Xen's "Load track template n" (where n>10) actions

Hi Tim,

Thought I'd mention that on my system (at least) sws 2.0.0.13 is not finding a install directory as it normally does?

Could I have accidentally got the 64 bit version (even though it says 32bit)

My system is win7 64bit BUT with reaper 32bit. :)

Ah thanks for the report MBN. I rewrote the installer for this release and missed that one. It's fixed now; I uploaded a fixed version but the .dll is the same so no need to redownload.

@mbn / comment 53: I see. I explained that somewhere, but can't find it.. In short:

where "stuff" are items or tracks (for the moment) and here's the prob.. .. markers & regions: you can't select them natively => I can only position the edit cursor to "select" them, tahat is to say "selecting" one at a time, that's why only the previous & next buttons are available (big play button grayed with markers/regions).

I'll do some enhancements on all my themable GUIs at some point, I'll probably replace those buttons with plain text ones ("Select all", "Select previous", etc.): this will be clearer + fix some weird button display with some v4 themes (e.g. RADO).
