From Juca Nascimento:

Hi Tim I'm a Reaper 3 user and I have the SWS extension installed (thank you for it, fantastic). I made a request in the Reaper forum but it not received so much adhesions. I believe Reaper can be easily used for live performance, but for this is essential that we could have a option for get a List of Project Tabs, where clicking in a Project Tab name that Project Tab be activated. More adequated could be the ability of assign computer keys or MIDI controls for recall each PT. Actually, we have the Project Tabs opened side by side. If we have a large number of PT opened, is hard in the stage look for a specific name and click it. I believe is very easy to implement this feature and I'm sure it will attract so many new users to Reaper, beyond of increase the satisfaction of current users. I hope you like of the idea and can implement it in a new version of the SWS extension. Thank you and best regards.

Hi Tim, My brazilian friend Juca above reported my contribution to the creation of the Project List. I am programming in python, and created a script Project Tab Select List. My code is in http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=53867 and i send a copy attached (remove the *.txt file extension). Unfortunately I am not a C++ person. I hope the code helps in the implementation.

Hi Tim: Firstly, thank you for the implementation of this very useful feature in the new version. I believe this can be enhanced in two points: 1- Making the Path AND the file extension of each Project Tab NOT visible in the Project Tabs List. In the leave use, this could turn more easy encounter the right Project Tab to be used. 2- Making the first click only select the next Project Tab for use and a second click (or an Enter command) turning the selected Project Tab really effective. The feature, as it is now, is already an excelent bonus, but with the mods pointed above it will be a killer feature. A big thank you for listening our needs. Greatings.

A good implementation in it could be the possibility of re-order the files in the list. So, if we need change the project #1 to the project #12, by exemple, a CTRL+Drag/move could make the change. Actualy, the Project Tabs position is fixed, not being possible alter it. Thank you.

Yes, you can't change the position of tabs, and moving them by dragging is a difficult request, so I don't think I will do this. Understand you can always sort by name in the window.

Ok, I understund the difficult of make the re-order of the Project Tabs and agree with you it can be observed when inserting new Project Tabs in the current project. But if you can, take a look in the other two points. These I believe be important ones, mainly for live use. You're a gentleman. Thank you. Best regards.

Tim: You're the man! Fantastic! Now Reaper is very easily useable for live performance. As the program is so much stable and little CPU comsuming, I see great vantage in using it instead of using Cantabile or Forte. The Project Tabs re-ordering I believe the Reaper team can more easily implement, for obvious reasons. Thank you and congrats for your nice work. Greetings.
