Refinement Suggestions #252

I really love the layout of this website. Some things to make it better:

  1. Simplify the UX for adding recipes. It is a bit overwhelming that there is no input field and instead the screen is filled. Ideally I can immediately paste in a link or share into the PWA from iOS and Android
  2. Search method should be "Full" by default. Searching for "desert" should show items tagged by that type by default
  3. List view in cookbooks has button overflowing
  4. Print view overflows on right column of page
  5. Support for existing meal planning apps (send ingredient lists to Tandoor for example)

  1. Are you referring to the /recipes/add page?
  2. Good, I'll change the default to full.
  3. How did the button overflow? Here's how it looks on main, mobile layout: image
  4. This will be addressed in #246.
  5. I'll think about this one because the meal planning module is currently assigned to the v1.2.0 milestone.

The search section should really also contain a better way to select a tag. Searching for a tag is one thing, but sometimes you don't remember your tags so it would be nice being able to filter by tags. The same thing goes for filtering by tools.

I am aware that searching using e.g. tool:fryingpan is already an option, but that kind of assumes that you remember exactly how things have been tagged in terms of spelling, abbreviations and so on.
