I use metric for ingredients, but at the same time primarily use recipes from UK, US etc. which requires me to convert the ingredients.
To avoid getting very odd numbers when converting imperial volume to metric measurements, e.g. 1 tablespoon = 14.790 ml, it would be much easier to go by weight instead.
Not to mention that weight is more exact which is crucial when it comes to baking.
Therefore this should be useful not only when converting between imperial and metric, but also nice being able to convert between volume and weight measurements. This is actually how I have done with most baking recipes for years. Then it is just a matter of having a food scale ready and just tossing things in as you cook/bake.

As suggested via #335 this should be a dynamic implementation so you can switch between volume and weight, depending on preference.
