Requirement: Add property type flatFlat as well as flatApartment

Story: As a Reapit customer, I want to be able to differentiate between "Apartment" and "Flat" to enable premium properties to be marketed as "Apartment".

Hi @Simon-Homeflow Is this request for the additional type to be added to the customers CRM - if so they will need to log this via the Reapit Service Desk.

If this relates to surfacing a customers attributes please see: https://foundations-documentation.reapit.cloud/whats-new#properties-api-7

Hi @AshDeeming The Reapit Service Desk referred them to us to raise a ticket with you. Little bit confused about where we need to go with this one? We are only receiving value "flatApartment" that ties up with the documented values.

Hi @Simon-Homeflow currently flat and apartment are represented as a single type in the API as you have rightly observed. This is because 99% of our customers use either Flat OR Apartment, or a combined attribute (ie Flat/Apartment) as the two terms are generally used interchangeably. It sounds like this customer may have a reason for having them separate, but from the API perspective it's unlikely we'd ever separate these back out and so i'd be asking the customer to explore merging them inside the CRM - especially since in the example above they've got them both ticked anyway. This is something they'd need to liaise with our helpdesk about. If they aren't willing to do that, they would need to provide a reason preferring to keep them separate which we can then take to the respective product team for review.
