API endpoint to retrieve a certificate - given only the certificate ID as input #11363

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. We would like to be able to retrieve a certificate from the Reapit API, given only the certificate ID as input.

Our webhook endpoint receives a document.created payload when a certificate is added, but the only identifiable information we have in the payload is the documentId, associatedType (certificate), and associatedId (certificate id).

We cannot determine which property or contact(s) the certificate relates to based solely on this information.

Describe the solution you'd like Extend the GET /properties/certificates endpoint to include a new optional parameter: certificateIds (string array).

Describe alternatives you've considered A new endpoint GET /certificates/{id}.

Hi @HollyJoyPhillips, this is currently blocking us on some essential lettings work that needs to be completed. When will this be discussed and when can it be worked on?

Hi @AshDeeming, can you please let us if this is possible and if so, a timeline for this by the end of today? We first raised this over two weeks ago. If easier, do put me in direct touch with the relevant colleagues and I'd gladly walkthrough it.

Hi @charlottewittesaele Apologies for the delay. After discussing with the relevant team, this work has beens scoped & is currently in their near term queue. This request will require a new service so will be a large piece of work but they plan to have this completed 1-3 months.
