Background context
The default mechanisms that AWS Lake formation uses to obtain data from RDS data sources do not seem to work well with decimal data of certain lengths. Sales/lettings commission values for properties are an example of this. End result is a failure to populate some SQL queries when those fields are included in the SELECT statement (* inclusive of that).

This is almost certainly a bug with lake formation
We can probably work around this with Glue if needed
