The first ZK Campis recruiting participants!

From June 22 toJuly 6, 2022, users around the world cansign up for PrivacyIN’s first ZK Camp, which is committed to the institution’s originalgoal of preaching privacy-preserving technologies. The lectures will lastfrom July 8 to August 12 (one lecture per week). No more than 20 studentswill be accepted for small-class tutoring. The requirements of the studentsare as follows: •        With at least 10hours available for the course per week •        Familiar withbasic cryptographic protocols, or proficient in programming languages such asRust, Golang, and Solidity •        Completepreparation tasks before class, including reading classic papers andresearching engineering projects •        Submit codeassignments after each lesson •        Demonstrate coursedesign and share codes Having madelong-term efforts, we have created developer-friendly lectures that will beoffered for free. Students who successfully graduate from the Camp will receivea wide range of incentives from PrivacyIN. The Camp will help each developermaster ZK and build his own ZK projects. If your project is deemed promising,PrivacyIN will offer you Prizes and Grants to help it prosper.

Check out thelecture schedule of the Camp!

PrivacyIN’s firstdeveloper course on privacy preservation will focus on the introduction to thetheoretical development of ZK and the related engineering and developmentpractice. The course covers the following lectures: •        Basics of ZKCryptography & Research Overview •        Basic Principlesof the Classic ZK Protocol (Groth16 Plonk Stark) •        Introduction tothe Application of ZK Circuits (L2/ZKEVM, ZK privacy-preserving circuits) •        ZK Hands-on •        Submission and Presentationof Graduation Projects

Lecturers

The first ZK Campwill feature, Dr. Yupeng Zhang, Dr. Siyuan Han, and the senior engineer KelvinWong. Dr. Yupeng Zhangwas a postdoctoral researcher at UC Berkeley and is now an assistant professorin the Computer Science and Engineering department at Texas A&M University.Dr. Zhang has published many academic papers and is experienced in practicalcryptography. He will bring his extensive research experience to the lectures. Dr. Siyuan Han gothis Ph.D. from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His researchinterests include blockchain storage optimization and ZK-based blockchain/dataprivacy preservation system, etc. Dr. Han will be a lecturer at the ZK Camp. Kelvin Wong is asenior engineer who focuses on privacy-preserving computation. He contributedto the implementation of Rosetta, a privacy-preserving machine learningplatform, as well as the MPC algorithm protocol. With years of practicalexperience in project development, Mr. Wong will be the teaching assistant forthe lectures. The threelecturers will present practical lectures with rich, hands-on content for alldevelopers who signed up for the Camp.

About PrivacyIN PrivacyIN (PrivacyInstitution), founded by the LatticeX Foundation, strives to build an opencommunity for preaching and studying cryptography and privacy-preservingtechnologies. The institution works with top scholars and developers who focuson privacy-preserving technologies to promote the innovation and implementationof ZK (Zero-Knowledge Proof), MPC (Multi-Party Computation), and FHE (FullyHomomorphic Cryptography) in the field of Web 3.
