Materials/Packets for Attendees: Feedback needed #3

I am including you all as you all have responsibility for pieces of information we want included in a Symposium Packet for attendees.

See below and thanks! Let's use this string to make sure we pull it all together.

I think we need everything in by April 10 for formatting, printing and copying. I will make sure we have all pieces together, but please be mindful of submission deadline.

We can assemble the 150 folders Wednesday night at the hotel if we cannot do it before.

Included should be:

  1. Restaurant Info- Amy, Can we get a list from the hotel of local restaurants in the area to put in the folder as most are coming from out of town and we are sending them to lunch one day and dinner another.
  2. Event Agenda - which I have and will send so Cindy can make it pretty and then we can print;
  3. Breaking Barriers Chronicle series and my May 2014 article - I have these and will give to Amy A to get them into some sort of interesting copy (thanks for offering Amy! I could get to you this weekend if that works or overnight tomorrow. I only have ONE original, so please keep it);
  4. Breaking Barriers Information Sheet which I can also send to Cindy to make pretty for printing;
  5. County Summaries - which Rick Saletta and Maureen are helping spearhead and we should have by April 8 so we can format and make copies;
  6. Rebecca, any round table information or bios we are distributing. You will need to stay on top of people for these as I have been in charge of this before. Thanks!;
  7. Hotel map - Amy, can you please get this for us, including our breakout rooms.
  8. Any surveys or questionnaires we want distributed. Rick, James, Marina, and Ron were working on these.

Anything else anyone thinks we should include?

PS. Occurs to me we have not told people about the shuttle service yet from Residence Inn in to the event and back. Once we get all attendees in an email string, maybe we can just send an email on that in advance of Symposium? Let's discuss in our planning call tomorrow morning.

The Grange is the restaurant at the Citizen Hotel and is FABULOUS, one of the best farm-to-fork local fresh restaurants in Sac!!!

FROM AMY: I will get hotel info for you by next week.

We need decisions on A/V equipment: how many easels, pads of paper, pens, etc. Presenters, please look at the A/V rental guide below and let Elizabeth know what you need.

Elizabeth, I'm leaving town tomorrow so don't leave the Chronicle articles on my doorstep. You can put in my mailbox or just mail to me. I can look at copying options next week.
