Revise wristmount design #3

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

Restart housing design with a clean state.
Overall bulk of wristmount needs to be reduced. Wristmount needs to be
adjustable to any forearm size

Some design considerations...
 - wristmount could house touchscreen only; arduino, controller shield and batteries to be housed in remote enclosure (possibly clipped to belt)
 - touchscreen could be mounted to inner wrist (opposite of a typical watch location)
 - wristmount should be easily secured using only one free hand

Paul, I would recommend everything to be rather close together in one housing.

With wire connected nunchuck to the controller I have found that the placing of
touchscreen on the driving-arm is vital. It is very easy to get un-wanted gyro
inputs while turning wrist to see(or use) touchscreen.
When using the current design the screen either ends up on the inside or
outside of the arm. Ideally it should sit in between, facing up...
One temporary/final solution is to go wireless nunchuck, another is to use
TUSCEN approach and temporary disable the gyro inputs... or use both (as Micke
is doing)
