Ability to explore extensions #356

For now there is, the Anime tab and the Manga tab, but since Dantotsu supports extensions, it would be nice to have an option to explore extensions or say, look into them individually. since each one supports filters and stuff. Something similar to this:

But idk think extensions are responsible for giving recommendations but anilist is so this would have no impact on the results

This is not about recommendations. Since the app supports extensions and there exist extensions apart from anime and manga extensions, it would be great to have an option to explore them. I would not suggest a different tab for movies/tv and Novels/Comics, because that would be too much to ask. A better solution will be to have an exploration option for the existing extensions.

Exploring them would be no issue but actually opening them. Since this app is an anilist client it would need to reverse search the title found on the explored source in order to display stuff like the info Page.

That is what I was requesting. If this is too much work then no worries.

The maximum thing that I could add which would be worth the time is exploring your installed extensions, and show like only the covers with their title and source like below but whenever you click on it it would just paste the title in the search filter.

Would it work for all the extensions? For ex. for extensions that support media other than Anime, like movies and stuff.

Stuff other than anime will not and never will be officially supported in app

I totally understand. I just meant that since there are extensions that provide such media, will the search work for those or just anime?

The search itself will work but you won't find any western media since all the results are from AniList

Then, there is no point in investing any time or effort in this.
