.AI , .PSD , EPS #810

Please provide information on your suggested feature/enhancement here. Make
sure you have already searched existing issues for a similar idea.

I have seen this done around the web, mostly with favicons, but is there any 
way to import a layered file into svg-edit? It seems like a really daunting 
task to take on.

Yeah, it would be great if we could support conversion from AI/EPS formats into 
SVG one day, but that's not a high priority.

PSD is Photoshop, which would be rasters (with a sprinkle of vectors, I think).

FYI, SVG itself is a "layered file" and Adobe Illustrator can export to SVG.

I actually did know that! I did my research, but clearly still sounded like a 
child. I just figured that for the simplicity of users going from EPS or AI is 
"easier" than remembering to convert it. PSD was dumb on my part since this is 
a vector application, but my thinking was to enhance it for a wider user 
experience. Thanks for considering it!
