In multiline edit cursor poistion not proper #915

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Add an multine text
2.Align the text box to center or righ align
3.Try editing the first character

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The cusrosr shld go at the first character but it stays on the middle character

In what browser did you experience this problem? (ALL, Firefox, Opera, etc)
ALL

In what version of SVG-edit does the problem occur? (Latest trunk, 2.5.1,
etc)

I'm sorry, how exactly do you multiline a text? I can't find it even in latest 
revision.

Are you using extension?

Has anyone found a solution to adding multiline text to the latest SVG-edit 2.7 
version?

We also have this need and are planning to work on it sooner or later.
As it is a significant effort to bring back an existing branch  on release 2.7, 
we are postponing it regularly in term of priority.

Is there a way to mutualize effort on it (development, testing, …)  ?
