Not input character 2 bytes japan #960

I choice control text tool to input text.
Input text 1byte is ok.
But input text 2 bytes japan is not implementation.

I have choice language japan.

I'm using version http://svg-edit.googlecode.com/svn/branches/textedit/editor/.
it support input text multiline but it input text language japan is not execute.
Because control text edit using event keydown,keypress, keyup to input text.

How to capture copy memory text to paste it.

I have no problem entering a 2-byte CJK character in trunk, 𠀀 (U+200000):

Testing one random katakana, hiragana, and Kanji characters, アわ明, also 
works.

Please confirm.
