About

I am the squad lead here (@recaptime-dev/squad-leads) at Recap Time Squad, mostly doing both the maintainer chores on projects hosted under here (alongside @lorebooks-wiki and @gitpodify, among other things) and behind-the-scenes admin work. You can learn more about me in the squad wiki here.

My purpose as a squad lead is to spearhead projects and initiatives that not only build up the tools for the needs of the wider open-source community, not only as part of either myself or within Recap Time Squad, as well as to collaborate and work with other communities together.

Disclosure

Nothing in particular, other than I am an crypto native, maybe holding small amounts of crypto. I am also an contributor to the aports repository in Alpine Linux community, currently maintaining one package for Alpine Linux users.

Communication Intent

I intend to regularly update the community as much as I can through monthly and quarterly progress updates here (alongside mandatory moderation logs and RFC voting decisions), ensuring transparency and providing insight into my thought and decision-making process. My transparency log/communication thread is not only limited to @recaptime-dev, since it is designed to also provide transparency into our open-source and Web3 work.

Transparency Log - 2024-11-08

This is my first log for this year months after I made this thread. The major activity I did as SABDFL is that I officially signed the fiscal sponsorship agreement between @recaptime-dev and @hackclub (with Paul Spitler as our point of contact at HCB). I'll be working on updating the donate page real soon.
