SongSelect Lyrics format #2

It would probably be helpful to people and maybe easy to implement if the *.txt* files exported by https://songselect.com could be directly used.

They have almost the same format as the one documented in the readme, with some additional metadata, e.g.

Hey,

Thank you a lot for your suggestion, you are definetely right with this! I am trying to implement CCLI Songselect support in the final Version 2, which I am going to release before the end of March. Any contribution, pull-requests etc. are also welcome :+1:

Dear @jorsn,

it has been a long time since then but in the latest commit version 5f5e250a58cb1ba7bb931a6128be718f53649f86, the CCLI song lyrics format is supported by Cantara. You can just download their *.txt files from CCLI Songselect and save them into the local song repository directionary. Cantara will automatically detect the format and its parts like stanzas/verses, chorusses, bridges etc. and order them correctly. Everything should work "out of the box".

Feel free to test the feature and report bugs or other unexpected behavior. I am going to publish a release with this new future when it has been tested mature enough. Thank you!
