Feature Description
I am working on implementing a project for real-time face detection and emotion/gender classification using the fer2013 and IMDB datasets. The project utilizes a Keras CNN model for classification and OpenCV for face detection.
I am raising this issue to seek contributions and suggestions for optimizing the CNN model and possibly enhancing the data preprocessing steps to improve the emotion classification accuracy.
Use Case
Enhancing the real-time face detection and emotion/gender classification feature will improve the project's effectiveness in various applications, such as human-computer interaction, mental health monitoring, customer service, surveillance, and education.
Improving emotion classification accuracy will make the model more reliable and effective, leading to better user experience and decision-making in real-world scenarios. This will increase the model's adaptability and utility in diverse applications.
