Is there an existing issue for this?

Feature Description

Wheat Spike Detection Using Computer Vision This project leverages computer vision technology to detect and analyze wheat spikes in agricultural fields. By using advanced image processing and machine learning algorithms, we aim to provide farmers and breeders with actionable insights to improve crop management and productivity.

Use Case

Monitoring the growth stage of the plants in the field: As the harvest date approaches, both the number and the area of spikes increase. Assessing plant health: An unusually small number of spikes or smaller spike sizes may indicate diseased plants. Evaluating spike density and estimating yield: Different varieties of wheat can be characterized by their spike density, providing an approximate yield estimation.
