Relations in New Recogito #11

Would you please, please, reintroduce the relations feature into the new Recogito? It is absolutely crucial

Could we still use the old recogito? I mean, how long would it work more or less?

You mean the free community instance at recogito.pelagios.org? Yes, that is still online and should remain so. The company I worked for kindly offered to host it for free, and I have done the maintenance work in my spare time. My former company still hosts it. But I have since changed jobs, some time ago. So no-one can give guarantees, really...

But, obviously, "old Recogito" is open source. Just like for the new one the source code is available on Github and won't go away. You - or your institute - can always set up their own instance easily. (See documentation in the Readme of the Github repository.)

Hi Rainer, Yes, I mean the one in Pelagios, that is the one I use now. I have not tried the new one, I was (online) at the Lightweight digital mapping tools workshop and saw that it allows no relations, and that is a big issue for us. But we will try it and see, of course. Many thanks for all this Best Rocio
