This thread will be handled here, till a better place is found. It seems that the recommended option is a Lithium Polymer LP-103040 1200 mAh Approximate dimensions: 4 x 2.5 x 0.3 inches 10.16 mm x 6.35 mm x 0.762 mm Any feedback appreciated here.

I have replaced the battery ordered from above link. Steps done:

use a small hammer and gently tap the end of the case all the way round, it will eventually crack where the glue is.
with soldering iron, remove old battery and solder new one. Mind were the red/black wires were attached
put the battery and small circuitboard back in the casing.
I have used black ducktape to fix the casing and it then fits in my Airwave goggle.
You could glue them back together as well
Put the goggle on a charger and it should boot :)

I have tested the new battery at my home and I get a good solid 7.5 hours will still about 25-30% left. Temperature was high (around 4 or 7 degrees), but my previous battery was also with those temperatures a disaster. Next week I am in the mountains, can't wait to see how the goggle will perform in actual snowboard activity with the replacement.
