After checking https://www.gnu.org/licenses/license-list.html , http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2010/03/24/a-short-guide-to-open-source-and-similar-licenses/ , and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_free_and_open-source_software_licenses and I agree that LGPL is too narrow. I would go for MIT, but I don't have a strong opinion about that.
Right, I'll look into some details and change it to either MIT or Apache

I propose we change the license from LGPL to Apache (or the others in the title). The main reason being the low permissiveness of LGPL vs. Apache/BSD/MIT. @abellogin any thoughts?
