I had just added the first new artist after I've just installed ribcage 2.0, but can't edit anymore #57

When every time I try to click the "edit" of that artist, the wordpress backstage only redirect me to a page says "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page" and never allow me to edit it anymore. Please help me.

And also, now in every artist page (/artists/that-artist/ something like that), it also shows a row of words in red background at the bottom of screen say "Please return following links to the footer: Designed by Free Premium Wordpress Themes, thanks to: Top Music News, Rock Metal News and Top TV Shows", why? and how to?

I'd just added the first album in ribcage, but why my /releases/ is still all blank and empty, nothing inside?

In the Setting page of Ribcage in backstage, the "Save Changes" button is always covered by the "Thank you for creating with WordPress." of the Wordpress system (as the attached image shown below), so I never can edit this page, please help.

button

And I've that it seems not so compatible with some multilingual wordpress system plugins like qTranslate or mqTranslate, is it? and is it possible for me to translate ribcage?

I'm now using WordPress 3.9.1

First thanks for using Ribcage. Going to break your comment down.

  1. This is a know bug. It is unlikely to be fixed in the short term.

Sorry - but the reason why this isn't in the WordPress plugin repo is because while it works for us, it does have a number of bugs. I suggest you keep an eye on https://github.com/recordsonribs/thorax to see where we are going with all this.

  1. Nothing to do with me! However it is likely that your WordPress theme inserts something arbitrary and Ribcage does not...so you would need to look into this independently.
  2. Unknown, sorry. Will look into it.
  3. Likely an unclosed tag - have a look at the HTML and see if you can see the problem. Work around - in Chrome inspector delete the covering over link.
  4. We'd love you to help translate Thorax! Please see the link above.

Sorry none of this is particularly useful, but we are moving away to Ribcage to a new plugin entirely, Thorax, so work on this is effectively paused. I will however look into the particular issues you discuss here and get back to you. I'd really appreciate it if you added, say, the translation bit to the issues tracker of Thorax so it is kept in mind and I am building something people need and want!

And also, how can I integrate Ribcage to my Wordpress site e.g. integrate into my main menu?

this is my first testing site and all are just new for testing (nothing meaningful in this site yet), you may have a look into the theme I've used and find if any problems: http://parcowp.proavnet.com/

I'm going to try Thorax, thanks.

You might have a problem with Thorax as it has zero functional code in it!

Oh, ok, sorry, I see
