Adding the MIT license file to the project #118

Closed pdhiran closed 4 years ago

pdhiran commented 4 years ago

Adding the MIT license file to the project. Choosing the MIT license as it is gaining popularity with developers due to its short and clear license agreement, and also as this repo, which hosts the QA test suits for Teuthology, also uses a MIT license.

Resolves #114

should we cherry pick or rebase rh-luminous and rh-nautilus , octopus branches @pdhiran @rakeshgm for this license file

Shouldn't this be a text file and not a markdown file?

I looked it up at the GitHub docs, and the License file can either be a text or a markdown file. ->https://docs.github.com/en/github/building-a-strong-community/adding-a-license-to-a-repository

Either way should be fine.
