I'm sure the problem was with the version 01.03 update

since now the game does not crash and the console returns no error.

I think it's because the COMPUTE_DISABLE_HACK was enabled, which fixes the crash on v1.00 and v1.03, without that hack it would show access violation crash. Both of these versions can go ingame.
