Try -h DEPTH_DISABLE_HACK , may fix text. Also you can try additional IMAGE_LOAD_HACK. I set status-ingame due low fps.

DEPTH_DISABLE_HACK didn't fix the missing text. With IMAGE_LOAD_HACK the fps vary. Some areas I reach a steady 60fps, further in the game 3fps.
