Somewhere along the way, automated testing went the way of the dodo. This should be resurrected. I'm submitting a working simple tests/index-spec that can be linked to Travis for CI, but that's just the first step.

Steps include:

[ ] Fleshing out the tests described in docs/testing.md.
[ ] Describing the test technologies & processes used.
[ ] Getting CI up and running.
