Email-sending code is improperly entangled with db config. #71

On email_demo branch as of today, see the mailgun code and the TODO comment in models/index.js. That code really belongs elsewhere; the comment describes the most likely strategy for what to do about it, but until it's done it's a kind of development bug and this is its ticket :-).

This problem is now on the master branch, since we merged email_demo to master.
