"should have" is strange language in this context, as it implies that we don't know what happened. i would suggest something more along the lines of "these subreddits have committed to joining the protest from the 12th-14th and beyond."

ah, i didn’t see this pr before submitting my own to change the same header (#26). in mine i change the wording to These subreddits went dark between June 12th and June 14th. Many are remaining that way indefinitely. i guess it’s up to the maintainers what wording they prefer
