Percentage based tracking is proving to be difficult in a lot of cases. So instead, how about we have status based tracking?
We could allot status tags to the promise based on the following order
Not started
Bill Passed
Project Funded
Contract Awarded
Work started
Work Completed
Project Delayed
8 Project stalled
The above list a very basic list. We could expand/reduce the list based on suggestions and discussions.
The above list can also have a priority number assigned to each stage such that the highest priority status tag is shown along with the promise.
On the back end, the contributor could have a drop down menu for selection of the status of the promise and options to add sources for each status change.
