the NFS role should allow to create an NFS server that then is configured by the openshift-ansible playbook

In general, I'm of the opinion of keeping the NFS server separate of the actual OpenShift cluster provisioning as you'd most likely want to keep the NFS server around even when the OpenShift is decommissioned. We already have a nfs-server role available to be used for this purpose. If we were to enhance the CASL tools to automatically provision a NFS server, I'd suggest that we tie it in with the openshift-ansible NFS functionality.
