The namespace-configuration-operator helps keeping configurations related to Users, Groups and Namespaces aligned with one of more policies specified as a CRs
Currently, it looks like they'll look to support both the bundle format and the packagemanifest format, but would assume they would look to fully transition to the bundle format in the future. Would be good to begin looking at migrating to this moving forward.
OLM is transitioning to use a new bundle format which will provide some additional benefits as described here: https://github.com/operator-framework/community-operators/issues/1680
