Mark-up, punctuation, consistency fixes #121

An assortment of minor fixes, mainly in AsciiDoc syntax and punctuation. Also turned on syntax highlighting (helps to read the YAML file).

Tested that it builds fine using the dockerized Asciidoctor you use to build on Travis.
