[ ] Create an imagefactory deb package
[ ] Upload these somewhere public
[ ] Publish documentation on imgfac.org

OpenSUSE have a really nice tool for packaging for multiple linux distributions. If we want to start supporting > RHEL/Fedora then it might be worth checking this out: https://build.opensuse.org/

Why not package for Debian as a baseline and cover both Debian and Ubuntu?

my 2cents, because the project started within Red Hat so we focused to package for it and hoping that one day someone from the community would raise his hands for the debian package :)
