Which reminds me that nobody took another look at latest kernels whether there was any progress around sysctl isolation. And how do you feel about pushing this to beta? I don't see much reason no to. With safe/unsafe it will not hurt, but it will be available without annotations and without feature gate.

strong preference to get it out of alpha. it works fine, albeit the feature is quite limited due to most of the useful sysctls being of the "node-level sysctl" variety.
