What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Add a new torrent (multiple files)
2.Unselect the unwanted files
3.Wait for the download completion

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
All the files are downloaded even the unselected (marked with skip ones)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Transmission remote gui 5.01 with Transmission-bt 2.83 under openwrt

Please provide any additional information below.
I do not know if it is a daemon bug or a gui problem

I think your referring to daemon bug #532
https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/532

you can find the latest patch for this at:
https://github.com/cfpp2p/transmission

For Windows:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/transmissiondaemon/

These daemons work perfect for the #532 bug and don't have lots of bugs I find
in daemon 2.83
