can't put icon on systray

I'm on Ubuntu 14.04 x64 with transmission Remote GUI 5.0.1 and the options to 
put the App on the systray are disabled, if I check the close to tray, when I 
close [X], it minimized to the unity dock and if I right click close, the app 
doesn't get closed.

how could I launch the App directly minimized to the systray ?
