closing sketchspace #3

Hi,

when adding a sketch, the plugin takes half the space to allow users to draw, and there is a button to maximise it. However, I cannot figure out how to minimise the space again. Am I daft, or is there no such funcationality?

On a related note, the amount of bottons in the menu requires etherpad to be quite wide - it is possible to either make a second row of menu items, or somehow have them appear/disappear when sketchspace is maximised/minimised?

Regards, Benjamin

This is really two issues. On the first, if you click the image icon in the pad text, it is deselected and so the sketch space area is hidden. This is actually a side-effect of the fact that you can have multiple images in the same pad, and switch between them by clicking the corresponding image icon. Clicking it again just deselects it, selecting no image.

I was discussing a new UI design for the toolbar/menu for etherpad with @johnyma22 just yesterday, and we might have come up with a solution that hides away the bulk of the buttons, leaving only the most used ones (adding a kind of menu tree in addition to the toolbar). When/if that happens, the same will happen for SketchSpace.

Thanks for the feedback. Looking forward to the menu-solution, that would help a lot in using it embedded within a website. In my installation (Version 4195e11), sketchspace does not close when I de-select an image.
