Whenever I use the insta fade option it makes some sliders bug out like this. Is this a problem with the original skin or something else? image_2024-10-25_141140189

its because the instafade is configured to use @2x skin elements (specifically the HitCircleOverlap in skin.ini) and you are probably running osu on a low resolution. ill look into it further when i have the time and see if a fix is possible.

for now you can either try run osu on a higher resolution or change the HitCircleOverlap manually

im playing 2560x1440, how would i change it manually?

the skin

strange, when i tried to make the instafade skin it worked fine for high resolutions.

you can try download the skin i created and see if it works fine for you https://rednir.s-ul.eu/2kWMNKUy

ok thank you

PatrickVong commented 4 hours ago

do you know why some numbers are doubled like sometimes for one hitcircle the numbers 3 and 4 are stacked

rednir commented 4 hours ago

like this? unfortunately this effect is unavoidable, the way instafade hitcircles work mean that for hitcircles with a number 10 or above the numbers will overlap
