Standardize Names from Factual #354

Today - we standardize names and return names if CNN is succesful -

Can we also come up with ways where we can standardize names from Factual

If not for all -- atleast for anything that is a franchise --

Example - we see Travel Lodge Logan UT or Barclay Bank Delaware --

may there is factual name - that is Franchise name that we return?

I think it would be easier to simply include any franchise that we wanted to have standardized names in the merchant CNN.

Yes - but there are probably around 5000 to 10K franchises - would we able to include everything?

Maybe I should ask some questions to Factual guys on this issue

Where did you get that number?

My thought is that name standardization is something that factual should be doing. If they're not doing it well, how can we expect to do it any better?
