I have a private openfire based jabber server running for my friends.

I am connected to it through Xabber on Android 4.2.2

Every 2-3 minutes the following message appears in the chat room:

"You have joined chat room as xx" (xx = my username)

Any idea why?

Is there an update on this issue? It is still present, and it's hard to use a chat room when it's flooded with these messages.
